UI/UX Design

What is React Native?

I’m really excited to see that the web technologies are improving so fast and I decided to create a series of tutorials about React Native. I always felt that there should be a single language for web and mobile. I’m not a big fan of hybrid apps because the user experience is not as good as the one on native apps. React Native is not very mature and there are some limitations, but we’ll talk about this in the next lessons.

What is React Native?

You can use React Native to build mobile apps that behave like native apps using only JavaScript. If you are familiar with React for web then you already know how to use React Native because it uses the same design which means that you can reuse most of the code for web and mobile.

Apps built with React Native are not mobile web apps, HTML5 apps, or hybrid apps. these are real mobile apps which are using the same fundamental UI building blocks as regular iOS and Android apps. You just put those building blocks together using JavaScript and React.
